Great Bardfield is an independent Local Authority with powers, duties and responsibilities of its own. It is completely independent of County and District, and is managed by a council elected every four years. For more information about each Councillor, click here.
The Council also has an Administrator, the Parish Clerk who is responsible for making sure the Council acts legally, and manages the running of Great Bardfield's assets and facilities.
